SPRINGFIELD, N.J. – The Jersey Express has announced the appointment of new Media Director this season is Jeffrey R. Ayars. 
As a Cornell University BFA student, Jeffrey constantly strives to make new connections between his deep-rooted background in the fine arts, writing, and ever-growing love and passion for cinema.
While a classically trained artist, Jeffrey has dedicated the past six years to becoming fluent in cutting edge software and hardware involved in digital photography and video production.
Inspired by his father's directorial achievements in television, he taught himself digital photography and began working freelance as a photographer and videographer for a highly-regarded specialty wedding studio, and went on to produce his first short film in 2011 (which he wrote, directed, and acted in). The film was screened at two film festivals.
Jeffrey has most recently designed on-air graphics for while interning at Comcast Sports Group and worked as a videographer and editor at the Philadelphia Phillies, where he shot and edited a thirty-second television spot promoting the 2012 All Star Game. This summer, he will also be doing production on Hardball with Chris Matthews at for NBC Universal
